Everyone knows I’m terrible at naming my paintings once they’re finished… but truth be told, my husband is even worse at it! When he spotted this piece hanging in the hallway, he immediately said, “Flamingo.” I decided to let him win this round—because honestly, it does fit. But since she has a little flair and elegance, her name had to be Flamant Rose—flamingo, in French.
‘Flamant Rose’ is 30”x40” on stretched unprimed canvas, 1.5” wide, using acrylics, ink, spray enamel, charcoal and oil sticks.
